When are gift baskets made?
We take pride in our gift baskets and make all baskets at the time they are ordered. This ensures your gift will be fresh, look clean and provide you and the recipient with the best quality products.
Can I ship a gift basket anywhere?
We can not ship items to PO Boxes, foreign or international addresses at this time from our online checkout. Please call The Gift Basket Stop toll-free at 1-888-4theGBS (1-888-484-3427) to place your order for these listed destinations.
Can I ship a gift to Hawaii and Alaska?
We do ship to Hawaii and Alaska, but please choose either UPS 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air service since UPS Ground service is not available to these areas. All orders submitted with Ground Shipping to these areas will be automatically upgraded to 2nd Day Air at extra charge and billed separately.
Can I ship a gift to a APO-FPO address? Yes, we can ship your gift to an APO-FPO address by calling The Gift Basket Stop toll-free at 1-888-4theGBS (888-484-3427) to place your orderby phone.
What information should be included when placing an order going to a hospital or large office complex? Recipients First and Last Name, Company or Hospital Name, Full Street Address, Floor Number and Room or Suite Number.
If shipping gift to a hospital we strongly suggest contacting the hospital to find out their policy on deliveries. For example, most courier deliveries are required to go to the shipping and receiving department as the courier does not have permission to deliver directly to the recipient. Also ensure the patient will not be discharged from the hospital prior to or on the day of delivery.
Can I request a specific delivery time? Delivery times are based upon the courier's scheduled routes. We are not able to specify or guarantee a delivery time.
Do you deliver to Apartment Buildings? Yes. When placing your order, be sure the apartment number is included in the address. Any omissions or errors may result in additional transit time along with an address correction fee charged by FedEx ($5.00 on Ground shipments and $10.00 on Express shipments). The delivery policy to apartment buildings in general is that there must be someone at the apartment to successfully complete delivery.
Can I send a personalized message along with my basket gift?
Yes, all gift baskets come with a personalized gift card. Make sure you include your personal message when placing your order in the Enter Gift Card Message box of the shopping cart (last page where you enter your billing information). Please limit your message to 170 characters.
What forms of payment can I use to place my order?
You can use Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express to complete your order at The Gift Basket Stop.com.
When will my credit card be charged?
The Gift Basket Stop.com will charge your credit card through a secure authorization at the point of purchase online. Your order will automatically be completed and transferred securely to us for processing.
Do you collect sales tax?
State law requires us to collect sales tax on sales delivered in the state of California.
How long will Gourmet foods stay fresh in my gift basket?
According to our suppliers, the items packaged inside are best if consumed with in 6 to 9 months.
When do I have to order my gift baskets to make sure they will arrive by Christmas?
-Orders received and confirmed by December 14, 2007, 12PM PST are guaranteed to arrive by Christmas when shipped via ground services.
-After December 14, 2007, 12PM PST we recommend using Express delivery to guarantee delivery prior to Christmas. |
