California Wine Country
California is a wine region where the realm of possibility knows no bounds. California produces more than 90 percent of all wine made in the country. California’s nearly 1,200 wine producers range from extremely large tiny winery’s. About one hundred grape varieties are grown in the state but just six lead the production of fine wines, chardonnay, zinfandel, cabernet sauvignon, sauvignon blanc, merlot and pinot noir. With more than 427,000 acres stretching more than 700 miles from the rolling forests of Mendocino in the north to the sun-drenched hills of Temecula south of Los Angeles. As a member of the California club you will enjoy wine from Napa valley - California’s best-known and most renowned wine region, Sonoma County, Carneros, Sierra Foothills, Mendocino, Lake County, Livermore Valley, the Northern Central Coast, Northern Central Coast, the Middle and the Southern Central Coast. Each shipment will include two wines from the many wineries California’s wine region has to offer.
